Dresden Estate Winery + Wedding Venue
This 64x64 winery estate is inspired by the Egon Müller Winery in Germany and is saved as a residential lot so you can change the venue type to suit your gameplay. Designed mainly as a wedding venue, it also works well as a getaway or owner-occupied vineyard home.
Outside, your Sims can explore a hedge maze with a hidden gazebo, a two-storey arboretum, a quiet pond picnic area, and a rotunda wrapped around an old oak tree, complete with swing set and vineyard views. A simple farmer’s shed hides a staircase down to an underground wine cellar with bar seating, bathrooms, and a cozy reading corner, while the ground floor holds nectar-making and gardening equipment.
The main building features a grand entrance with wine and cheese, a ballroom with bar and piano, a small sitting room, and a reception hall with bar, buffet, bathroom, and doors leading to a wedding-ready patio overlooking the hedge maze. A large catering kitchen connects to the arboretum, which holds a fountain and many of the plants used to make the estate’s wine.
Upstairs, there are four ensuite bedrooms with walk-in closets, plus lounge areas with a fireplace, games, bonsai space, and a balcony where Sims can enjoy views of the grounds or stargaze through the telescope at night.
This build was inspired by Egon Müller and Schloss Johannisberg wineries

Final thoughts…
This build took a long time an had many challenges (building on the diagonal and deciding how to use fill such a large block). The initial structure was relatively simple as it is just 3 rectangles essentially. Using my inspiration photos made it easy to pick the CC to use that best captured it. Beyond the initial plan I just winged it. For such a large block you want to fill it, but not crowd it. It can be easy to cram a lot of stuff in to try an fill the space but this can end up crashing your game. Things like the pond, hedge maze and debug vinyard served to fill large areas.
The cellar was a necessity to age the wine, but having it below the main building wasn’t feasible given the restrictions of stairs when built on the diagonal. I picture this estate as originally belonging to a minor noble who produced wine for the region. With that in mind, it made sense that the cellar would be accessed via the farm side of the estate rather than the main house.
There are lots of little details that really add to this build feeling authentic but still being usable by sims and relevant to gameplay. Whether that is nectar making, a wedding venue, a bar/lounge/ or a residential home-business. There are so many directions that you could take this lot with a few tweaks. I hope you enjoy it.
